Tax preparation & compliance

Personal and corporate returns prepared, reviewed, and filed by a CPA — accurate, on time, and explained in plain language.

Personal tax (T1)

Canadian personal income tax returns, including employment, self-employment, investment, and rental income, and cross-border situations where a US return is also required.

Corporate tax (T2)

Canadian corporate income tax returns for small and mid-sized companies, with the schedules and filings your corporation needs to stay compliant.

US individual returns

US federal individual returns for clients with US filing obligations, coordinated with your Canadian filing so the two work together.

What's included

  • Preparation and CPA review of your return before anything is filed
  • Electronic filing with the CRA (and the IRS where a US return applies)
  • A plain-language summary of your result and what drove it
  • Identification of slips, credits, and deductions relevant to your situation
  • A written, fixed-fee scope agreed before work begins

What we'll need from you

Once we've agreed scope, we send a clear checklist — typically your slips (T4/T5 and equivalents), prior-year returns, and any documents specific to your situation such as rental, self-employment, or cross-border income. You upload them securely and we take it from there.

How we work

A clear, professional process

1

Consultation

We start with a conversation about your circumstances, filing obligations, and what you need — so the scope is clear before any work begins.

2

Plan & scope

You receive a defined scope and fixed-fee engagement, with the documents required and the timeline set out in writing.

3

Prepare & advise

We prepare, review, and file your returns, and provide the advisory guidance your situation calls for — reviewed by a CPA throughout.
